About Me

Welcome to my webpage! I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Economics at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Business School. I received my PhD in Economics from Cornell University in 2025.

My primary research interests are Information Economics, Networks, Political Economy, and Artificial Intelligence. My research combines economic theory, behavioral experiments, and LLM-powered agent-based modeling to study how information, incentives, and social structure shape beliefs and strategic behavior. One strand of my work focuses on ideological polarization and the spread of misinformation in digital environments, while another studies human–AI interaction, including questions of AI safety, trust, and strategic communication. My research aims both to answer the question of the underlying social dynamics of online behavior, as well as to explore the ways these models can be leveraged to create new policies and platform tools.
